Cynthia may be one of the first faces you see when you enter the salon and body studio, and she is also one of the very pleasant voices on the telephone. Having joined The Gilded Pear as the Salon Receptionist in 2014, Cynthia brings with her a knowledgeable background. A trained stylist with extensive experience in customer service, Cynthia provides a well-rounded and professional addition to the Gilded Pear, and is looking forward to ensuring your salon experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Hair Stylists

Amy is an experienced stylist of over 20 years. She has kept up with her knowledge and education by attending many classes on colouring and cutting techniques. She can work on all types of hair and especially loves hair with texture.

Bonnie G. has been in the business for a long time and, as such, has seen all the latest trends and styles come and go. During those years, she has taken the very best from these techniques and made them her own, tailoring her skills to fulfill the wishes of her clientele. This knowledge, adaptation and innovation is evident in all of her work.

Bonnie K. has been in the business for over 25 years and, in addition to being a compassionate person, is very much passionate about hair and making people feel good by taking care of how they look.

Kasara brings 30 years of hairstyling experience to The Gilded Pear and enjoys all aspects of her work in the beauty and fashion industry. Her favourite part of her job is the instant gratification for a job well-done: she is satisfied when her client is satisfied. She loves the creative process involved in consulting and customizing hairstyles and colours to a client’s specific face shape, skin tone and lifestyle. Her looks are maintainable and she loves empowering her clientele to take charge of their beauty regime at home.

Kelly has been a hairstylist at The Gilded Pear for 12 years. She stays updated on all the latest trends to give the looks you want with the expertise you need. She places high value on listening to her clients and tailoring her services to meet their individual needs, striving to make sure her clients have a more enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Liana has over 35 years of hairstyling experience. She is passionate and eager to create amazing looks for her clients from professional to everyday fun/playful or trendy and unique looks. She has a variety of skills that range from colours, foils, bleaching, perms, cutting and styling ladies, mens and children. Her goal as a stylist is to ensure that her clients’ experience is one that is fun and relaxed.

Louise has 30 years of experience in the hair industry and has attended many training classes to build her expertise in cutting and colouring. She specializes in perming as well, with which she has a lot of experience.

Michelina (Micki) has nearly 47 years of experience in the hair industry and takes great pride in enhancing personal beauty for everyone.

Shari has been doing hair for 27 years and has been with The Gilded Pear since it opened.  She is experienced with Hothead and short to long extensions, updos, perms, foils, bleach and tone hair, long hair (straight or curly), short hair, and razor cuts. She is a master colorist and prides herself on teaching her clients how to care for their hair and style it after they leave the salon too!

Stacey graduated from Marvel College and has been in the industry for 24 years. She loves the opportunity to transform one’s self image into a positive experience. She has been with The Gilded Pear for 15 years and is proud to be part of such a great team. Stacey’s repertoire includes foils, perms, colour, updos, ladies, men and children. She welcomes new clients while remaining grateful to her long-standing clientele.

Susan has a passion for hair and the beauty industry. She has provided her clients with the latest hairstyles over the last 28 years. Continual education has been important for Susan to stay at the forefront of her field by increasing her knowledge of hair services and the latest products. She places strong emphasis on listening to her clients, understanding their hair needs and providing them with the best service.

Theresa has a passion for the hair industry. Cutting hair is one thing; cutting hair the way you want it is everything. With 25 years experience, she is committed to learning new techniques and applying them to keep your look current and fresh. Theresa uses a wide range of colour trends and top-of-the-line professional products to complement your style and take your hair to the next level.

Estheticians

Carly has been an esthetician for 10 years. She strives to offer relaxing services and takes pride in every treatment she performs. Carly is currently on maternity leave, but she will be back to work in February 2017.

Glenda has been an esthetician for 23 years and has worked at The Gilded Pear for 12 of those years. She does all aesthetic services including manicures, pedicures, gel polish, all waxing, facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. She is a licensed laser technician and also does body contouring with the Lumicell Wave 6 machine.

Lacey is a full esthetician with a passion for the beauty industry who has been practicing for 12 years. She is driven by the evolution of the industry and her personal growth through self-care. Her favourite services are waxing and facials, and she loves getting clients through something as uncomfortable as hair removal with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to return for their next appointment! She also loves giving pedicures, lash lifts, and brow laminations to help everyone feel and look their best. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, baking, and immersing herself in Indigenous culture with beading projects for friends and family. 

Savanna is a certified esthetician whose passion for the industry started long before her career did! At the age of 14, she was begging her mom for her first set of gel nails and this sparked her interest which led her to enroll in esthetics school and discover her love of so much more. Over the years, her passion has turned into developing personalized experiences for every client, with specializations in waxing, artificial nails, manicures and pedicures, facials, tinting and laminations, and much more. Whether you’re prepping for a vacation, a special event, or just need a little “me time”, Savannah has you covered. When she’s not in the studio, she’s enjoying life as a wife and a proud mom of a beautiful boy; she loves everything country and is excited to meet new faces and grow her community –  one appointment at a time!

Stephanie has been an esthetician for 8 years. Although she performs all services, she specializes in full body waxing and pedicures. She loves to consult with clients about the most beneficial products and services for them and their loved ones. New clients are always welcome.
